Darren is passionate about using the skills and knowledge he has gained over the decades in the home building industry to ease the stress that his clients face during real estate transactions. After working for much of his life as a contractor, Darren was naturally led to a career in home inspection by his full understanding of building systems and his desire to more fully pursue customer service as a part of his job.
Free Time
In his free time, Darren enjoys recreational fishing, competitive bass fishing, the rodeo, and hunting. He is an automobile enthusiast and remains active as a carpenter. Darren has lived in the same area of Texas since he was 8 years old and enjoys helping his beloved community as a home inspector.

Over 30 Years of Industry Experience
Darren began his career over 30 years ago when he became a trim carpenter and cabinet maker. He loved working with his hands and spent several years getting more acquainted with the construction industry. He eventually began his own construction company, Henley Construction, and specialized in remodeling projects and home renovation. After being hired as a construction manager for a local Houston builder, Darren worked his way up to being a top 10 home builder working for a national company and the commercial building industry. As a home inspector, he uses all of the skills he developed throughout his career to help his clients understand the condition of their prospective properties and the repairs that will be required.
