Darren was very professional and was able to handle our inspection on short notice. He reviewed everything from the inspection report with me and was able to address all of our concerns about purchasing an older home (built in 1993). Thank you Darren & River Rock Inspections for being so dependable! Darren has inspected two homes for my clients and we are so thankful for him. Due to his thoroughness, we were able to see the issues with the first home and my client decided not to follow through with the purchase of the home because of some of the things he found and none of us could see or were aware of! Both times, we quickly received a report of every single issue that he found along with suggested repairs. The report was all factual and nothing was made to sound scary. Not to mention, scheduling the inspection was flawless. I would use Darren again in a heartbeat and you should too.

I enjoyed the through report and the concise pictures. We used Rock River Inspections to help us take the doubt of purchasing a used home. I had my brother and parents attend and he answered all questions without ever being bothered by us. Very pleasant to work with and did a great job with the report.

One of the best experiences I have ever had with an inspection. This is the 5th home I have purchased since 2005 and tried to buy 2 others, so have had 7 inspections in that time and this was hands down the best one. I have never had an inspection that included measuring the foundation level and using infrared on the walls to check for leaks or other issues, all for the same cost as a basic inspection with other companies. Darren the inspector was very thorough, explained everything clearly with the few issues that were found, he explained that due to the age of the house that some items were grandfathered in, he made recommendations for a few items that needed to be repaired, and was very professional and pleasant. With past inspections, the inspectors always made things out to be major dramas and because of their drama made my inspections very stressful. The inspection with Darren was not stressful at all.

This was my first home inspection experience and I could not have been more pleased. Darren arrived promptly and was very polite and professional. I am purchasing an older home and Darren was very thorough and took time at the end of the 2.5 hour inspection to show me photos and answer questions for me. I had a written report within 24 hours. I would definitely utilize this company again and would request Darren specifically. Will absolutely recommend this company to others.
